Monday 5th March 2 - 4pm: Advanced Technical Communications: Conference

MSc Students from the Informatics course "Advanced technical communications" will be running a conference in the Creativity Zone between 2 - 4pm.  They will follow the usual conference format of running parallel sessions along with poster presentations.  Some of the posters will be displayed digitally rather than in a printed form. Their brief is to give a 10 minute presentation to a general, not specialist, audience - on the same subject area as their poster which should be of a standard suitable for an academic, not general, audience! Their presentations will be filmed and the footage made available to each student for their own evaluation of how they "performed" on the day.

Tuesday 6th March 2 - 5pm: Design Integration: Presentations

 2nd year product design students on the "Design Integration" course will be engaged in group presentations of their innovative kettle designs.  These will be judged by a panel of independent judges.  The students have put a lot of thought into how they are arranging the Creativity zone, including the sound and lighting effects, so it will be well worth a look.
