Engineering Islam

"Engineering for Society" would like to cordially invite you to the

Engineering Islam: Interactive, Multimedia Event

11-3pm (drop-in)

Friday 13 February

InQbate (CETL) (Pev 3C7)

Refreshments

The aim is to collect together a set of resources on the contribution
Islamic scientists, engineers and polymaths have made to Engineering,
which of course will include the work of scientists in disciplines
such as mathematicians
and astronomy.  These resources will be used for outreach and we hope
will include people as well as physical and digital artefacts.

If you are interested in seeing what we have already put together,
have suggestions for other resources or would like to be involved in
any way, then simply drop in at some point.  There is no formal
programme, just interesting things to see and people to talk to (and
nibbles).
