The Material Exploratory - A materials masterclass to change the way you think about and use materials in design.

An accomplished designer in his own right Chris Lefteri is an internationally recognised authority on materials and their application in design. He studied under Professor Daniel Weil on the Industrial Design course at the Royal College of Art. He has since run his own practise specialising in materials for designers. His books include seven titles in the "Materials for Inspirational Design' series covering Plastic, Wood, Glass, Metals and Ceramics. His latest book "Making It' deals with the production of eighty designed objects and is launched in June 2007. He was also responsible for curating and designing 100% Materials at 100% Design in 2006.
